Equal, modern and inclusive:

• Free races each evening; Year 4, Year 5, Year 6, Year 7 – girls and boys run together* *(note because we are just starting out, if numbers are v small we might combine races 😊)
• The course will be the same each time
• Every runner gets a personal time and a printed certificate at each race that they can write their time on
• They can track their own times online at runwirral.uk/primary by matching their finishing place with the times that are published that evening after their race
• Rather than team or winner’s medals, all runners will get a medal at race 3
• There will be 2 trophies awarded to the schools that have the most participants in the girls or boys, to recognise their efforts in getting their athletes to compete

The race is open to all children, and is fully covered by insurance, and licensed by Wirral Council, so children can come and run even if teachers are unavailable, however they must be accompanied by their parent or another adult.

No need to register - just turn up and RUN :)
